The Los Angeles Chargers are expected to sign defensive lineman Willie Yarbary, a 6-foot-2, 285-pound Wake Forest product who recently played for the Massachusetts Pirates of the National Arena League and in the Spring League. Yarbary is one of four Spring League participants that could be signed by the Chargers for depth purposes. He’ll strictly be providing depth for the team’s defensive line during training camp, and he won’t be guaranteed a spot on the active roster to begin the season, although he could stick around on the practice squad if he doesn’t make the team.
