The further we get into the 2025 NFL season, the more it seems that the league’s top players are one-upping each other in each passing week. After Brock Bowers returned from injury in Week 9 to set a season high with 43.3 PPR points, the top scorer in each week has scored at least 40.0 PPR points. In that span, we have seen a new single-game benchmark set twice, including our first 50.0-plus PPR performance of the season this past Sunday.
In fantasy, quarterback scoring is down across the board this season. Meanwhile, there are four players at other positions who have blown by the signal callers in PPR scoring. While the NFL’s MVP is generally considered a QB award, in this year more than any in recent memory, non-QBs have been staking their claim as the most valuable to their team’s success. It will surely be an uphill climb, but it wouldn’t be a shock if we see a rare MVP win come from somewhere other than the QB position in 2025.
