There is at least one inarguable factor working for Albert Okwuegbunam in his quest to be the first tight end drafted, and that is his speed. Are the wheels and other attributes enough to make Albert O. the first tight end off the board? Let’s examine.

From The Beginning

Okwuegbunam is from Springfield, Illinois, where he attended Sacred Heart-Griffin high school. He played wide receiver in high school but was recruited as a tight end by colleges. According to 247 Sports Composite, he was a three-star recruit and was ranked 30th among tight ends in his class. He would opt to play his college ball at Mizzou and did not express interest in any other suitor.
