Injury Report 

Both Michael Thomas and Marcus Davenport are out for this game, which are significant blows on both sides of the ball for the Saints. There’s a ton of target volume open for New Orleans. 

Henry Ruggs was a DNP twice this week, but he managed to practice in a limited fashion on Saturday. Ruggs’ status is extremely important not just for the Raiders, but for this game’s total. 

Pace and Play Calling Tendencies 

Over their last 17 games, LV has ranked 31st in seconds per snap, while NO hasn’t been any quicker at 28th. Neither of these teams moved quickly in Week 1 either, which has me apprehensive about the 48.5 implied total. 

LV was one of football’s run-heaviest teams with a 48% neutral game script run rate. NO has been on the opposite end of the spectrum by calling a pass play on 60% of their plays in neutral situations. Thomas’ injury could certainly lower this, however.
