Key Injuries

Add Miles Sanders and Zach Ertz to the already massive list of injured players for the Eagles. Boston Scott and Richard Rodgers should see significant increases in their workloads as a result. DeSean Jackson and Darius Slayton are expected to play for this game, which is good for the scoring total and the median projections of both quarterbacks.

Sterling Shepard is eligible to return from injured reserve and play in this game. A decision likely won’t be made on his activity until just before game time. Monitor his status before setting and forgetting your lineups.

Pace and Play-calling Tendencies

We’ve seen some different trends form over the last few weeks in regards to pace and play calling rates. PHI is playing at the third-fastest pace and throwing over 60% of the time since the start of Week 3. Their opponents opened the season as one of the fastest-moving and highest pass rate team’s in football. Over the last four weeks, however, NYG is playing at the ninth-slowest pace, and they’re throwing in situation-neutral scripts just 52% of the time over that span. An early Eagles-lead would be optimal for the pace and total of this game, given that NYG moves around 25 seconds per play and throws well over 60% of the time when trailing by seven or more.
