Reasons to be Thankful? The Tight End Report – Week 12

Week 11 was a pretty good week for tight ends in fantasy football. Before Monday Night Football, 14 TEs eclipsed 10 fantasy points, a healthy figure in any week. As usual, we shall provide you with a plethora of stats to help you appreciate their fine work from last week.

We will then get into the serious business of finding three players to plug into your lineups, should you need them. Based on the two leaders who are on a bye this week, plus the less-than-ideal matchups for some lesser-owned players, I think these three options are truly the best of a bad lot this week. It would be better if Adam Trautman were able to build on his excellent Week 11. But he is likely done for the season now. So, thanks a lot, fantasy gods.

Nonetheless, I have three players that you might like to pick up ahead of the Thanksgiving slate of games. These players are rostered in less than 50% of ESPN leagues at the time of writing.

Into the abyss.

Stats below do not include players from Monday Night Football

Neil Dutton

Lead Writer, soft spot for the tight end position. Will never stop loving Duke Johnson.

We Live in Strange Times: Week 5 Tight End Streamers

Week 5 is here in bulk, people. Luckily, the injury bug didn’t seem to hit the tight end position too badly this week. I have three names for you, two of which may benefit from such injury luck that I would slide into my lineups this week, and…...
