THE BYE WEEKS ARE COMING! THE BYE WEEKS ARE COMING!

Have no fear, RotoViz is here to help fantasy managers get through some of the most stressful weeks of the year. Whether looking for a fill-in for bye weeks or injuries, we’ve done the heavy lifting to make sure your rosters are stocked with talent during the bye weeks.

Week 5 Bye Weeks:

  • Philadelphia Eagles
  • Los Angeles Chargers
  • Detroit Lions
  • Tennessee Titans

Before we dive into the players, just a few reminders about how the article is set up:

  • To be included as a potential add, a player must be rostered in 50% or less of ESPN or Yahoo leagues
  • To be mentioned as a potential drop, a player must be rostered in 50% or more of ESPN or Yahoo leagues
  • FAAB recommendations will be given, but also serve as tiers for leagues without FAAB budgets. The rationale behind FAAB recommendations is: If I had $1,000 in FAAB, what is the absolute most I’d be willing to spend on this player?
  • All positional rankings and statistics are taken from RotoViz’s Monday Review tool

In his Wrong Read series, Blair Andrews labeled Week 6 “Rookie QB Week,” and with good reason. With five rookie signal callers set to start for their teams, including two making their first starts, both fantasy and reality fans would be heavily critiquing each player’s performance. Jalen Tolbert Has a Huge Opportunity in Front of Him While Brandin Cooks is on IR

Heading into the season, Jalen Tolbert was getting plenty of steam as a breakout candidate in the Cowboys’ offense. #Cowboys HC Mike McCarthy on the biggest improvement he’s seen in Jalen Tolbert: “Everything. I think he’s just really completed his game… I think JT’s taken a big, big step.” pic.twitter.com/3RSOu8Lg9f — The Coachspeak Index (@CoachspeakIndex) August 2, 2024 #Cowboys OC Brian Schottenheimer on Jalen Tolbert:

Kenneth Walker III is Piling Up A Lot of Receptions for a Player Who Supposedly Can’t Catch

When Kenneth Walker III was entering the NFL, the biggest wart on his profile was his lack of involvement in the passing game. Walker never earned more than a 3% receiving yards market share in any college season, and it looked like perhaps NFL scouts were right to question Walker’s ability as a receiver after two different programs seemed to go out of their way
