The 2024 season has featured remarkable running back health, and yet breakout RBs like Bucky Irving, Chase Brown, J.K. Dobbins, Tyrone Tracy, and Chuba Hubbard have still provided late-round successes and additional Flex punch.
As Ben Gretch and I discussed on Stealing Bananas this week, the 2024 campaign has delivered epic performances from aging backs combined with devastating injuries to big-name wide receivers. The result has been a challenging-yet-exciting landscape where our squads loaded with players like Ja’Marr Chase, Bijan Robinson, Breece Hall, Jahmyr Gibbs, De’Von Achane, Kenneth Walker, Trey McBride, George Kittle, Brock Bowers, Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Jameson Williams, Jordan Addison, Jayden Daniels, Irving, Brown, etc. are squaring off against Saquon Barkley, Derrick Henry, Alvin Kamara, Josh Allen, Joe Mixon, and Josh Jacobs teams.
After a hectic final week, I was able to get seven of 11 Main Events into the playoffs, four of which either finished with the best record or most points and are into the $1 million sprint. Can the other three win their individual leagues and advance? Who will come up big in the pivotal three-week final stretch? We don’t know the answers yet, but the RotoViz tools provide tremendous insights as we continue to build the back of our rosters and make crucial start/sit decisions in the fantasy playoffs.
