When looking for ideal landing spots for 2025’s rookie wide receiver class, finding teams with a lack of competition and an abundance of open opportunities is a good place to start. Many of the teams across the NFL can offer one or the other, but there are a select few that can offer prospects both. While some of the best destinations may be obvious, there are a few that can offer sneaky upside to a young wideout.

In this exercise, we will use available receiving expected points (recEP) and vacated targets from the 2024 season to measure the available opportunities on each team. To get an idea of the strength of each franchise’s WR room, we will use a combination of Sports Info Solution’s advanced receiving metrics at the team level.

First, we will kick things off by looking at eight teams that check one of the boxes but not the other. Then we will detail the five teams that represent the most appealing destinations for incoming rookies. Finally, we will look at two teams that may seem like a strong landing WR spot at first glance, but have underlying factors that could end up burying an incoming rookie wideout.

Landing spots are only part of the equation. Dive deeper into this year’s rookie class with Volume 2 of the RotoViz Rookie Draft Guide, on sale NOW! Is the Sky the Limit For This WR Whose First Year Looked A Lot Like Tyreek Hill’s Rookie Season?

If based solely on attributes, he would have easily come off of the board in one of the first two rounds. Hill’s talent was never in doubt, and he proved it by putting up more than 200 PPR points and finishing as the PPR WR18 during his rookie…...

Can This 2024 Rookie QB Reach the Heights That Kyler Murray Saw During His Second Season?

Kyler Murray has received his fair share of criticism in recent years, but it was not that long ago when he was a fantasy darling after finishing as the QB4 in his explosive sophomore season.
