Stranger Things: Week 2 Tight End Streamers

Week 1 of the season is always weird. This year was no exception. For the first time since Week 15 of the 2018 season, precisely zero tight ends managed 16 PPR points in a game. This was despite four players commanding target shares in excess of 27%! Week 1 also saw injuries to key players, with George Kittle and Brock Bowers both picking up knocks. How much time they may miss/be affected is unknown at the time of writing. But even if they’re not on your roster, you may still find yourself in need of some help at the TE spot in Week 2. Well, never fear, I have a few suggestions.

Players Available in at Least 50% of ESPN Managed Fantasy Leagues

Hunter Henry (Available in 52.6% of ESPN Leagues)

Hunter Henry saw eight targets in Week 1 against the Raiders, converting these looks into four grabs for 66 yards — 10.6 PPR points, given the relative struggles at the position, is not to be sniffed at. Only two TEs across the NFL ran more routes than Henry in Week 1, so he is going to be out there on the field. Henry was tied for the team lead on the Patriots in targets, and only Kayshon Boutte had more receptions and yards.

Neil Dutton

Lead Writer, soft spot for the tight end position. Will never stop loving Duke Johnson.

Hunting Value at the Tight End Spot: Week 1 Tight End Streamers

We are back again, folks. If you didn’t land a Brock Bowers or a Trey McBride, and if you didn’t snap up David Njoku in the early double-digit rounds, then this is the weekly piece for you. You are probably wondering if all hope is lost at the tight end spot without a legit stud at the position. Well, it is not, and I am…...

Are the Colts Primed to Make Tyler Warren the Next Rookie Tight End to Smash in Fantasy?

There were only a few more obvious dot connections in this past draft cycle than attaching a tight end to the Indianapolis Colts, preferably the earlier in the draft, the better. The team obliged by using the 14th overall selection on Tyler Warren out of Penn State. But does this selection automatically mean fantasy fortune and glory await Warren and those who draft him? Athletic…...
