Week 1 of the season is always weird. This year was no exception. For the first time since Week 15 of the 2018 season, precisely zero tight ends managed 16 PPR points in a game. This was despite four players commanding target shares in excess of 27%! Week 1 also saw injuries to key players, with George Kittle and Brock Bowers both picking up knocks. How much time they may miss/be affected is unknown at the time of writing. But even if they’re not on your roster, you may still find yourself in need of some help at the TE spot in Week 2. Well, never fear, I have a few suggestions.

Hunter Henry (Available in 52.6% of ESPN Leagues)
Hunter Henry saw eight targets in Week 1 against the Raiders, converting these looks into four grabs for 66 yards — 10.6 PPR points, given the relative struggles at the position, is not to be sniffed at. Only two TEs across the NFL ran more routes than Henry in Week 1, so he is going to be out there on the field. Henry was tied for the team lead on the Patriots in targets, and only Kayshon Boutte had more receptions and yards.
