Believe it or not, fantasy’s regular season is nearly halfway over. In the case of the FFPC’s Main Event and Big Gorilla, Week 7 will kick off the second half of the fantasy regular season, while most home leagues will have to wait an additional week.
As much as I want to be a perpetual optimist when it comes to fantasy football, the 2025 season has made it difficult. A barrage of injuries seemingly every week makes it feel like this year will be less about the talent on our rosters and more about which fantasy managers can simply make it through the week with the healthiest starting lineups.
Whether it’s breaking out your lucky rabbit’s foot, turning your hat inside out, refusing to shave, or wearing the same pair of underwear for the next couple of months, I would implore the entire fantasy community to join with me in doing whatever we can to ensure that the trajectory of the second half of the 2025 fantasy season makes a quick 180 from what we have experienced thus far.
