Is Skyler Bell’s Athletic Profile Enough to Outrun His Age? Upon Further Review, No. 4

Kevin Szafraniec outlines why Skyler Bell’s pro day performance adds a new layer of intrigue to an impressive — yet still concerning — profile.

Dominating at UConn is a far cry from being an alpha wide receiver in the SEC or Big 10. Still, what Skyler Bell was able to accomplish for the Huskies in 2025 opened plenty of eyes. Bell became one of the nation’s top receivers during his final college season, ranking second in the FBS in receiving yards, fourth in receptions, and tying for third in receiving touchdowns.

The positive momentum carried over to the East-West Shrine Bowl and then the NFL combine. We covered Bell’s college journey and the highlights of the pre-draft process in Volume 2 of the 2026 RotoViz Rookie Draft Guide.

Bell put on a show at the combine, and it’s safe to say that things got even better after he participated in agility testing at this pro day. However, there are still some big red flags in his profile. Most notably, Bell turned 24 on April 5, making him one of the oldest players in a 2026 draft class that has no shortage of elder statesmen.

Should a strong pro day performance be enough to offset Bell’s advanced age, or should we be viewing him as another older player who compiled huge stat lines against overmatched competition?

The 2026 RotoViz Rookie Draft Guide is jam-packed with comprehensive player profiles, advanced stats, player comps, strategies, and rankings from the RotoViz staff, making it a must-have for every fantasy manager who wants to crush their best ball, dynasty, and redraft leagues in 2026!

Keep an eye out for Volume 3, which will drop after the 2026 NFL Draft!
