Kevin Szafraniec kicks off his deep dive into the NFC East by identifying the best and worst picks on the New York Giants’ roster in 2026 best ball drafts.

The Giants transformed from one of the least exciting teams in 2024 to one of the most exciting in 2025. The injection of young talent like Jaxson Dart and Cam Skattebo reinvigorated a roster that already had rising superstar Malik Nabers in tow.

Sadly, most of the enthusiasm shifted to 2026 and beyond, as all three young stars struggled to stay on the field. Nabers and Dart spent a total of two quarters playing together before the star wide receiver tore his ACL. Skattebo helped Dart steady the ship up until Week 8, at which point the rookie runner suffered a gruesome dislocated ankle.

And while Dart was still standing at the end of the season, he was no stranger to the blue medical tent. The rookie quarterback’s reckless running style was fun to watch but also led to big hits, which resulted in concussion testing on what seemed like a weekly basis. Eventually, Dart missed Weeks 11 and 12 after suffering a head injury against Chicago but did not miss any more time upon his return.

The Giants couldn’t catch a break in 2025, but the future is looking bright. This offseason, longtime Ravens coach John Harbaugh was brought on to lead the team. In addition, the Giants’ front office continued to stock the roster with promising young talent.

Is 2026 the year we see everything change for the G-Men? Or will the reckless abandon that makes the Giants’ young stars so entertaining ultimately be the team’s undoing? And do these rising superstars recovering from serious injuries deserve a spot on your fantasy roster?
