Kevin Szafraniec continues his deep dive into the AFC East by identifying the best and worst picks on the New York Jets’ roster in 2026 best ball drafts.
Things seemed like they couldn’t get much worse for the Jets following a 2024 season in which the team finished 5-12 and featured more drama behind the scenes than a reality TV show.
In 2025, the Jets started over with a clean slate, hoping to leave all the negative attention behind. But perhaps their plan worked too well. The Jets were largely irrelevant as the new regime failed to put a product worth talking about on the field.
By midseason, the decision-makers in New York held a fire sale for their most talented players, fully committing to the reboot by accumulating multiple first-round picks over the next couple of seasons. However, the front office has already begun rebuilding from the ashes by bringing in a mix of rookies and veterans to help get the team back on track quickly.
Given the Jets’ massive offseason investments, we will need to see major improvements early if the coaching staff wants to keep their jobs. As the Jets teeter on the brink of disaster, will the new additions provide the necessary spark to turn around their fortunes and give fans and fantasy managers a team worth paying attention to in 2026?
In this series, we will focus on best ball ADP from the FFPC slim format, which features 20-round drafts, tight-end premium scoring (1.5 points per TE reception and 1.0 PPR for all other positions), and starting lineups consisting of one quarterback, two running backs, two wide receivers, one tight end, and two standard flex spots.
