Kevin Szafraniec wraps up his deep dive into the AFC East by identifying the best and worst picks on the Buffalo Bills’ roster in 2026 best ball drafts.
It was largely business as usual in Buffalo last season. Considering the Bills have been one of the best teams in the league over the past decade, that is generally a good thing. However, the team’s continuing inability to get over the hump in the playoffs had general manager Brandon Beane looking to shake things up this offseason.
The first hammer to drop was the firing of Sean McDermott. But instead of going all out to find a replacement who could elevate the team, Beane instead chose to promote offensive coordinator Joe Brady to the team’s vacant head coaching role.
Another point of emphasis this offseason was improving superstar quarterback Josh Allen’s pass catchers. And while there were some true stars who were available, Beane’s trade for DJ Moore was more of a single rather than a swing for the fences.
Beane’s approach this offseason has the look of someone who is trying to hold onto his job for another season rather than build a championship roster. Even though some of the faces in Buffalo have changed, many of the moves the team has made appear lateral at best and destructive at worst.
Are the Bills simply running in place, or will their offseason moves give them the boost Josh Allen and Co. need to take the next step?
In this series, we will focus on best ball ADP from the FFPC slim format, which features 20-round drafts, tight-end premium scoring (1.5 points per TE reception and 1.0 PPR for all other positions), and starting lineups consisting of one quarterback, two running backs, two wide receivers, one tight end, and two standard flex spots.
