Zero RB Watch: NFC Week 15 – The Old Guard Vies With Emerging Stars as Fantasy Playoffs Arrive

Week 14 featured a return to glory for injury-plagued superstars like Dalvin Cook, Alvin Kamara, and Aaron Jones. They’ll have to be at their very best to hold off the wave of Zero RB options carving out real estate in the high-end RB1 tier. There’s no stopping James Conner, Leonard Fournette, and Cordarelle Patterson as they carry fantasy participants in all formats.

The Battle to Field a Juggernaut Intensifies

With so many good options in the late-middle rounds and in the undrafted tiers, Zero RB and Modified Zero RB managers are in position to start multiple RB1s and still fill their WR and Flex positions with stars. It’s also been a battle of attrition. Injuries and COVID designations have thinned out previously elite lineups, leaving all of us scrambling for the next man up.

The NFC has plenty of top options for the fantasy playoffs. Backups played a major role in Week 14, but many backs appear to be getting healthy at just the right time.
