Hell Hath No Fury Like an RB Scorned: What Should We Expect From Aaron Jones in Minnesota?

The Minnesota Vikings have agreed to a one-year contract with free-agent RB Aaron Jones that will pay him $7M in 2024.

After signing Josh Jacobs to a four-year, $48M contract on the first day of free agency, it was reported that the Packers were working with Jones to restructure his contract for the second time in as many years. A few hours later, Jones was released. Jones wasn’t out of a job for long, as he signed with his former division rival Minnesota Vikings the next day. Whether or not Jones had other offers on the table has not come to light, but the quick signing could be meant to send a message. Now the Packers will have to face Jones twice a year, and you can bet that he will want to make sure that his former team knows they chose to pay the wrong guy.
