Robert Foster Isn’t The Only Wide Receiver Sleeper in Buffalo

Most fantasy analysis is devoted to sorting the order of players likely to have an immediate impact, but every year there are a handful of overlooked deep sleepers who emerge to fill a starting role in redraft. Last year, it was guys like Phillip Lindsay and James Conner at running back. Deep sleepers at WR are a little harder to find, but we did tell you to watch out for Curtis Samuel, and he flirted with WR4 numbers. Most of these guys in this deep sleeper series will be misses, but the goal is to look for the silver lining and find a handful of players that…...

A Historical Perspective On SFB9 Scoring

We are less than a week from the kickoff of the 2019 Scott Fish Bowl (#SFB9). The scoring format is largely unchanged from last year and it still includes a points-per-first-down scoring component and a points-per-reception component. Given the video games theme for #SFB9, Scott Fish has incorporated a bonus scoring component. The added five points for every 50 yards threshold a player crosses will lead to some eye-popping final weekly scores. Playing around with the terrific #SFB9 app Blair Andrews has put together, we can see that Le’Veon Bell holds the record for the most points scored in a…...

Super Deep Fantasy Sleepers: Kansas City Chiefs

As mentioned in my previous article, the Kansas City Chiefs have plenty of opportunity available for their receivers. We know that Travis Kelce, Sammy Watkins, and Mecole Hardman should see plenty of volume this season. However, considering that Tyreek Hill may not play this season,1 there could be additional opportunity available for the several auxiliary wide receivers on the Chiefs’ depth chart. I expect that Demarcus Robinson steps up and earns a significant chunk of the vacated opportunity. For this post, I’ll be taking a deeper dive to find some sleepers on the Chiefs’ roster. Note that I’m limiting my…...
