The NFL scouting combine will always have a special place in the metaphorical heart of RotoViz. In many respects, it’s the only controlled environment in which football-related data is gathered and in which the players are literally on a level playing field. It’s the one time that we are able to observe a player in isolation and collect qualitative measurements that are influenced by zero external forces.
