Week 14 is a crucial week for fantasy football owners, with many leagues now beginning their playoff brackets. It is therefore crucial that every start or sit call being made is the most optimal. With that in mind, the RotoViz Game Level Similarity Projections offer a valuable tool towards assessing the good, or bad, that a player can do to you this week.
The GLSP come courtesy of Dave Caban and offer you a tantalizing glimpse into how players could produce this week based on previous matchups. With that out of the way, let’s take a look at how the numbers bear out this week for the quarterbacks.
Truth be told, there are not a lot of options out there if you are looking to stream the position. Most, if not all, of the most efficient options have long since been rostered. However, there are a few left-field options this week that you may want to consider. Josh Allen is one such player. Thanks to an insane recent run of rushing form, he now offers something of a floor. This is despite his lack of a functioning offensive line and any reliable pass catchers. The Jets have not been able to hold off many QBs of late, making Allen fantasy viable in this crucial week.
In keeping with my previous point, if you’ve got this far with a particular QB you will probably be loath to sit him at this point. But there are one or two players who offer a potential risk in their numbers. Deshaun Watson’s projections appear a little disappointing all across the board. The same is also true of Dak Prescott and Lamar Jackson. Just be mindful of this when setting your lineups.
