You could have constructed a beautiful team last year, employed every lesson from Shawn Siegele’s Best Ball Workshop, hammered wide receivers in Rounds 3-6, waited on quarterback, the whole nine yards, and it wouldn’t have mattered if you drafted Saquon Barkley instead of Christian McCaffrey.

You need the right guys. All of the other research we do maximizes your chances of hitting on the right guys, but the point remains that player selection is hugely important.

With that in mind, I asked my fellow RV writers to name their single favorite value in Rounds 1-5 for this season. The guy who they would say is their guy.
