Denver Broncos running back Melvin Gordon III is sitting out Sundays contest versus New England due to a non-COVID-19 illness, but he was also arrested earlier in the week on DUI charges. In the wake of the incident, the Broncos do not plan to levy a fine or to suspend Gordon beyond what the U.S. judicial system decides. Phillip Lindsay and Royce Freeman stand to benefit from Gordons absence so long as it lasts, but it sounds as if Gordon should reclaim his RB1 status once hes fully healthy. He has favorable matchups on the horizon against Kansas City, Atlanta, and Las Vegas, over the next four weeks, which ups both his season-long and DFS appeal.
