Denver Broncos tight end Noah Fant (ankle) has been officially ruled out for Sundays contest versus the Patriots. Despite having been a limited practice participant throughout the week, Denver will ultimately opt to hold Fant out, further limiting the teams offensive options with Melvin Gordon III (illness) also sidelined. Jake Butt and Nick Vannett figure to continue holding down tight end duties without Fant in the mix, but with Drew Lock (shoulder) nearing a return, season-long fantasy managers can hold onto Fant with the hope that he suits up next week against Kansas City. Having averaged nearly seven targets per game this season over his first four contests, Fant figures to be an integral part of the Broncos passing game without Courtland Sutton (knee) for the remainder of 2020.
