Welcome back to Strength in Numbers, a weekly article in which we go over the most actionable takeaways from every NFL weekend in a concise, numbers-heavy format. For the first time this season, an NFL game will be played on Tuesday because of COVID-19, meaning we actually aren’t completely through Week 5. It remains to be seen if the NFL will have to take even more drastic measures to control the spread of COVID-19 throughout the league and keep the players safe, but hopefully we’ll be able to get through the entire season without too many hiccups.
Increased cases around the league aren’t the only thing that Week 5 bad; Dak Prescott‘s gruesome injury put a damper on an otherwise interesting NFL Sunday. We’ll go over all of that and more in this week’s edition of Strength in Numbers.
