When Colm Kelly and I draft our RotoViz Overtime squads, we tend to emphasize Zero RB constructions that include Elite TE builds. The WR-heavy approach dominated 2022, and top TEs often give you a trump card through the playoffs even when the original advance rates aren’t as strong. But Colm and I also love to try crazy constructions, especially if the evidence suggests 2023 could be wildly different.

Today’s Underdog Workshop will look at one of these unusual squads. The creative draft combined elements from my priority player picks (Best Picks in Each Round) and strategy lessons (How to Dominate With Hyperfragile). But the trump card was an under-employed cheat code from the Underdog Roster Construction Explorer that allowed us to counterattack when blocked by our opponents and end up with a squad that dominates all positions.
