In 2024 Redraft Game Plan: The Update, Shawn Siegele provides his 27 priority targets for fantasy football draft weekend.

Since releasing last week’s 24 Priority Targets for High Stakes and 25 Priority Targets for Home Leagues, we’ve published an avalanche of additional research, NFL reality teams have made roster moves, and I’ve drafted a large number of new fantasy rosters.

Ben Gretch and I drafted five teams yesterday in the FFPC FantasyPros contest as part of our Stealing Bananas draft marathon. Every high-stakes draft this time of the year helps crystallize your favorite targets, while forcing you to reckon with players you like in theory but can’t bring yourself to select when on the clock.

Where do the priority targets come from?

In the following exercise, I’ll use FFPC ADP from just the last two days. That alone provides an excellent snapshot of player value as you head into your most important draft. But I’ll also be giving every player a target designation to help you create a roster with the type of upside that could win a tournament or dominate your home league.

Blair Andrews’ article today looking at four contrarian principles for fantasy football domination is a foundational piece for understanding the thought process behind our grades. (Blair and I don’t have identical boards, but they’re very similar due to philosophical agreement.)
