Shawn Siegele updates the Big Gorilla Blueprint with mega-tiers, tiers, 23 priority targets, and player updates.

With one week of the preseason under our belts and draft season going in earnest, it’s time for an update to the redraft plan. In this edition, we’ll discuss movement in the rankings and how to create the most upside in current drafts.

Today’s exercise is best used in concert with the deep research from . . .

The Draft Blueprint Series

. . . and the League-Winning Player Series

In terms of schedule, the 2025 Zero RB Candidates Countdown is slated for release next week, but drafters who take on opponents this weekend can use today’s exercise in concert with The 15 Must-Draft RBs above to get very close.

If time permits, I also have a handful of fun articles sketched out for the next 10 days or so.

  • The 2025 Home League Blueprint
  • The 10 Most Important Players in Fantasy
  • 10 Sleeper WRs: Explosive Names Beyond the ADP Top 200
  • The 10 Main Event Hacks That Put You On Collision Course With $1 Million

In the meantime, Kevin Szafraniec has 16 Late-Rounders: From Irrelevant to the Starting Lineup, and Blair Andrews helps you understand how to beat 2025 best ball formats with The Anatomy of an Elite Win Rate WR.

If you’re preparing for a home league with substantially different ADP, you can still use the rankings and priority targets, just be sure to emphasize rankings within each positional group. The priority targets should be good for almost any format as long as you’re price conscious and don’t select them before your league demands.

Never Chase Your Zero RB Winners, Right? Even for a Young, Supercharged Version of Aaron Jones?

What would you pay for a young, supercharged version of Aaron Jones, especially if he labored for one of the NFL’s best offenses? For years, I’ve forced myself to avoid Zero RB hits during their follow-up seasons. After all, taking the next step and becoming a 350-point sensation requires a mix of attributes that is incredibly difficult to deliver. Of course, it’s always tempting to…...

When Rules of Thumb Fail: Winning the Next War

Shawn Siegele argues that occasionally simple rules of thumb end up not being so simple. Understanding the trajectory for players as they move through the NFL can be very important. That’s one of the reasons I so frequently reference Blair’s groundbreaking WR age series. It’s also helpful to understand the role that draft slot plays in establishing a baseline for a player’s likely usage. While…...

Third Breakout’s the Charm: An Unsexy WR Set for a Stefon Diggs-Level Mid-Career Leap

Shawn Siegele examines a veteran star with perhaps the most bizarre ADP in all of fantasy. Stefon Diggs entered the NFL as probably the most hyped RotoViz sleeper in the site’s history, and he proceeded to play quite well during his first five seasons. He averaged over 200 points per season from 2016 to 2019 and constantly flirted with WR1 status. This was still a…...
