Los Angeles Rams running back Darrell Henderson was effective in his lead-back role in Week 6 against the San Francisco 49ers, but it was a below-average day for fantasy purposes. He finished with 14 carries for 88 yards, but he wasn’t able to score a touchdown or get any work in the receiving game. Despite talk from head coach Sean McVay about an increased role for rookie running back Cam Akers, that didn’t occur, as Henderson led the backfield with 14 carries on the night. With the way he’s playing, it’s clear they plan on him being the guy on a weekly basis. Even if he doesn’t have the RB1 ceiling he did a few weeks ago, he’s still a solid flex option heading into Week 7.
