Denver Broncos running back Phillip Lindsay (head) has entered the league’s concussion protocol. Lindsay suffered a concussion in the first half of this week’s game against the Kansas City Chiefs. He should be considered questionable at best for the team’s Week 8 game against the Los Angeles Chargers. If Lindsay is forced to sit out the game, Melvin Gordon will handle a heavy workload for the team. Lindsay was in the midst of a solid game this week with nine carries for 79 yards before the injury. Lindsay should remain owned in all leagues. He is averaging 5.2 yards per carry on the year, which is a solid notch above Gordon’s 4.3 yards per carry.
