The Houston Texans are placing running back David Johnson (concussion) on Injured Reserve on Saturday, meaning that he’ll be out for a minimum of three weeks. It’s a tough blow for any fantasy managers that were counting on Johnson to try and get them over the hump and into the fantasy playoffs. Duke Johnson was a popular waiver-wire pickup this week after Johnson left the Week 9 contest with a concussion, and he will step into a featured role in Houston’s backfield this weekend against the Browns. Johnson had a season-high 16 carries for 41 yards and a touchdown and also caught all four of his targets for 32 yards in relief of Johnson last week against Jacksonville. Plug Johnson into starting lineups as an RB2 this Sunday.
