During the pre-draft season I think it’s probably accurate to say that in general I was skeptical of Breshad Perriman. I wrote an article tapping the brakes on Perriman. But I also make a real effort to change my mind if I feel like either I’ve been ignoring important evidence, or if the facts change. In Breshad Perriman’s case it’s a little of both…. Membership...

I agree with Peter Reither that Maxx Williams is kind of a big deal based on his fantastic collegiate production; I take note that Shawn Siegele had Williams at 2.02 of his post-combine rookie mock; I also recognize that he was head-and-shoulders above other tight ends at number 17 overall in our RotoViz post-draft rookie rankings. That said, Williams came across as a negative outlier in my…...
Hat tip to Rotoworld for pointing out this piece from ESPN: If the Titans don’t keep Shonn Greene on their 53 man roster then the remaining players at the position should be Bishop Sankey, David Cobb, and Dexter McCluster. McCluster still has more fumbles in the NFL than touchdowns, a stat I bring up every time I mention his name. Bishop Sankey had an underwhelming rookie…...

We’ve spilt a lot of ink around RotoViz recently fawning over Dorial Green-Beckham. Is he a top-five, or even the number-one dynasty rookie pick? Fantasy Douche himself has wondered if Green-Beckham is secretly the most athletic receiver in the class. Considerably less time[1]Although, still a lot of time. This is RotoViz. has been spent discussing Devin Funchess. But the more you look into the collegiate production, measurables,…...

When it comes to small receivers, not many get love here at RotoViz. After all, there is plenty of data to suggest that bigger is better. However, I was rather surprised to see that Tyler Lockett came in at just 21 in our Post Draft Rookie Rankings. I ranked him 12, which is a low first round pick in most leagues. There are quite a few…...

Sammie Coates received a wide range of votes in our Post Draft Rookie Rankings. The lowest ranking on him was 36, and the highest was 20 (courtesy of yours truly). Such a polarizing draft prospect deserves some further discussion, and I think you have an idea as to where I stand based on putting AJ Green in the title. Hyperbole? Definitely. Absolutely ridiculous? I think…...

We have covered wide receiver Amari Cooper pretty extensively here at RotoViz. Shawn Siegele compared him to recent top prospects. Justin Winn pondered if he would score more touchdowns than Kevin White. He is our number one overall rookie heading into the 2015 season, narrowly edging Todd Gurley. Before the draft, Kevin Cole produced a set of opportunity scores indicating the best landing spots for 2015 rookie wide receivers…....
