NOTE: Our tools will be updated each week as soon as data from our stats provider is available. Generally, data from Sunday’s games will be available early Tuesday afternoon. For an immediate look at the games from the previous weekend, please check out our Monday Review tool which includes a collection of preliminary stats.
To be honest with you, I’ve been involved with a lot of award programs in my life and my observation is that they’re fairly arbitrary. And maybe the Heisman is arbitrary too, [1]I haven’t been involved with that one yet but that doesn’t mean it’s any less fun to try to predict the winner. Toward that goal, I recently waded through a sea of Heisman…...
My friends and I have a game where one of us will try to come up with a million dollar idea off the top of our head, and the rest of us will try to brainstorm a way to make it better, workshopping it until it’s something that we think would be appropriate to bring to Cubes and Daymond in The Tank; or, more often than not,…...
In the most recent Numbers Game Podcast, I mentioned that presenting stats in seemingly similar groupings can be misleading if the events grouped together, in fact, have very dissimilar expected results. One of the oft-used groupings that jumped out to me is looking at touchdown scoring efficiency in the redzone, or inside the 5/10 yard line…. Week 7 was a mixed week for streaming. There were some waiver wire options that performed very well (as we’ll talk about shortly), but the top QBs still did their job for the most part. Tom Brady, Philip Rivers, and Andrew Luck all had great fantasy days, and Carson Palmer was still a top 12 option. However, there was definitely an edge that could have been gained from reading this…...
With a solid base of data points, fantasy football is growing more and more predictable by the week. However, as with all games of incomplete information, there will still be surprises each week for us to analyze. In this article, I will break down some of the week seven surprise performances and help you move forward with confidence on some players in ambiguous fantasy situations…....

Did you know that Nate Washington, Danny Amendola, Tyler Lockett, Robert Woods, and Chris Conley finished as top 15 fantasy wide receivers in Week 7? This is the type of volatility the NFL brings us weekly and we love every second of it. … Membership Required You must be a member to access this content.View Membership LevelsAlready a member? After last nights massive 14 game slate, we get a slight breather tonight with just three games on the schedule. On smaller slates, many players prefer to focus more on GPPs then cash games, since there tends to be more overlap between players and the difference between cashing and missing the cut can come down to not having one key guy. That’s a personal decision…...

Welcome to the Running Back Opportunity Report. Arian Foster, the Houston Texan’s elite running back (and, more importantly, a key player on two of my fantasy teams) tore his right Achilles tendon on Sunday. He’s now on injured reserve, and is having his tendon surgically repaired. Foster is expected back in 6-9 months, i.e. for the start of next season. The question I’ll address here is how good we can expect Foster…...

Week 8 fantasy football news and notes, featuring Lamar Miller, Justin Hardy, Christine Michael, Victor Cruz, and more. Lamar Miller Kevin Cole recently penned an excellent article about whether or not we should continue to expect big games from Lamar Miller. Read the article to get the full insight; it’s well worth it. One of the takeaways is that the opponent’s ability to stop the…...
What a time to be alive! Week 7 saw Darren McFadden and Chris Johnson stacking yards on top of yards, while a 170 pound 32-year-old WR2 called Nate Washington was the highest-scoring receiver in fantasy. Even in dynasty, when geezers become pleasers, fantasy leagues have to take notice. But, let’s not lose focus:… Membership Required You must be a member to access this content.View Membership...
The NBA is here!!! This time of year marks the point where I can finally stop pinning my hopes and dreams to the Cleveland Browns and start getting hyped for the Cavs. We’re almost healthy now! Week 7 was very high scoring because a lot of the chalk players had great games. Todd Gurley, Philip Rivers, Ladarius Green, and Lamar Miller all had respectable games. If you rostered Miller and Gurley, there’s a strong chance you did very well in your cash games. I can’t really complain that I won $607 this week, but I am a little sour because this week could’ve been much better…....
