If you have a first round bye (or room on your bench) and are TE needy, check to see if Zach Miller is available on your wire. He plays SF this week, so there’s a decent chance he may have been dropped if he was picked up previously. Miller quietly has the third best remaining TE schedule according to the Buy-Low Machine.
Over the past two weeks, Miller has put in some nice work, posting lines of 4/69 and 5/86/1. I wouldn’t necessarily recommend starting Miller against SF this week, but Miller has the 2nd best TE schedule during weeks 15-16 (8th best in week 15 and the best schedule week 16). Week 15 is against NYG, who are good against the run, which may lead to increased passing. Week 16 is against Arizona, which is where TEs go to make highlight videos (put it this way – its not a coincidence that each of the top 3 remaining TE schedules faces Arizona).
Even if you’re not willing to insert Miller into your starting lineup, consider stashing him away on your bench so you don’t need to face him — especially in the championship.
