Ben Bauer – Austin Hooper is a low cost, low projected ownership (0-1 percent) option at TE with more pro trends on Fantasy Labs this week than anyone not named Gronk or Kelce.
Ben Gretch – Chris Godwin should be in line for a substantial snap increase and there is plenty of opportunity available in the offense with both O.J. Howard and DeSean Jackson likely out. He has FantasyLabs’ top Projected Plus/Minus at WR due to his minimum salary.
Blair Andrews – Cam Newton is projected for 17-20 percent ownership, and the Panthers have the third-highest total on the slate. According to FantasyLabs’ Correlations page, the position that has the second-highest correlation with QB scoring is the QB on the opposing team. Jameis Winston, however, is projected for only 0-1 percent ownership. Both the Bucs and the Panthers are bad at defending the pass, meaning we should see a lot of passing and a lot of points in this game.
Brian Malone – DeMarco Murray’s volume hasn’t gone anywhere, but his salary is the lowest it’s been all season and he’s projected to be on less than five percent of rosters. In a nasty week for running backs, I’ll take Murray and his projected 1.01 plus-minus.
Colm Kelly – Dion Lewis rushed 13 times for 67 yards and a touchdown and caught one of two targets for 13 yards. Although most of it occurred in the fourth quarter and he has had a modest workload this season, teammate Rex Burkhead will miss this game and should lead to increase in touches for Lewis. The Patriots get the Bills defense which has been great to target in fantasy this year with RBs – they have allowed the most rushing TDs along with the second-most rushing yards this season. He has a number of strong metrics on FantasyLabs and in a game where the Patriots should been in control, he’s a super value.
Dave Caban – FantasyLabs projects Eric Ebron with a high-end outcome 13 points higher than his implied projection. His opponent Plus/Minus is positive and he has four pro tags. He’s averaged at least 10 yards on his last 16 receptions and is in the top 20 percent of points per dollar.
Devin McIntyre – Jamison Crowder has a bargain rating of 94 percent according to FantasyLabs, despite a ceiling projection of 25 points. He has the fourth-highest projected Plus/Minus on the slate.
Drew Heinl – The Dallas Defense gets to face a Seattle team that has struggled all year protecting Russell Wilson. They gave up seven sacks in their last outing, and Dallas has some good pass rushers. FantasyLabs has their projected ownership at zero to one percent, which could give you a lot of leverage on the field.
Eric Braun – Drew Stanton is drawing five favorable pro trends in the FantasyLabs Tournament Model. In particular I like that Stanton has the trend of playing a bottom 20 percent Plus/Minus team to the QB position.
George Fitopoulos – With Ezekiel Elliott active, Dak Prescott hit value (in terms of Fantasy Labs’ Plus/Minus metric) in six of eight games, but in the six games without Zeke, Prescott only hit value in one game. Seattle’s defense has been struggling, so the matchup isn’t as daunting as it seems on paper.
Heith Krueger – Following the Rex Burkhead injury, James White is a fantastic value against a Buffalo defense that is bottom three against opposing RBs in fantasy points allowed. With a projected ownership of around 9-12 percent by FantasyLabs and a price of only $4,100, be sure to have at least some James White in your tourney lineups.
Jake Rickrode – C.J. Anderson has FantasyLabs highest projected ceiling of any RB with less than 5 percent projected ownership.
Joe Paeno – Golden Tate. I know it’s Marvin Jones revenge week, but Tate draws the juicy match-up against KeiVare Russell. He is projected to have less than 10 percent ownership according to FantasyLabs, which is ideal for his 25-plus tourney ceiling.
John Lapinski – Marcus Mariota’s season thus far has been monstrously disappointing, and he’s going against a tough Rams defense. With the second-highest over/under of the week though, this game has shootout potential, and FantasyLabs has Mariota projected for ownership of just one percent or less, making him a player I’ll be deploying in large GPPs.
Josh ADHD – Of the QBs in the mid-range, Matthew Stafford is projected at virtually zero ownership. Detroit has become more committed to the pass again, and they face a Bengals team in freefall. What’s not to like?
Matt Wispe – According to the FantasyLabs Player Models tool, Cleveland allows an average Plus/Minus of 2.8. The Chicago defense has the third-highest ceiling on the slate and fourth-highest projection.
Pat James – I’m going back to the Russell Wilson and Doug Baldwin well this week. Hopefully there is enough of a sour taste in the mouth of the DFS community. Additionally, with high projected ownership for Elliott in his return, many will be off the Seahawks. FantasyLabs has Wilson at a 97 percent bargain rating and only a 9-12 percent projected ownership
Ryan Bobbitt – Roger Lewis quietly has double digit targets in his last two games and will have the easier matchup avoiding Patrick Peterson. He should be one percent owned and also carries a 91 percent bargain rating.
Tod Burros – According to FantasyLabs projections, Paul Richardson is my least chalky player, and I’m counting on a bounceback week from Wilson to complete the stack successfully.
