There are a host of familiar names among the ranks of the most targeted wide receivers from Week 11. Michael Thomas, Julian Edelman, and DeAndre Hopkins have all seen at least ten targets in each of their last five games. Indeed, Thomas is currently on a six-game streak of seeing double-digit targets.
Here’s the full list of WRs who commanded at least 10 targets in the last week of NFL action.
Double-Digit Targets in Week 11
Minshew Mania may have overshadowed just how good a season D.J. Chark is having.
Indeed, in terms of sophomore seasons, through the first 11 weeks of Chark’s second season, his production stands up against some of the best WRs since 2010.
The change at quarterback from Gardner Minshew to Nick Foles doesn’t seem to have affected Chark’s play too much, either.
There were many hoping that Anthony Miller would enjoy a second-year breakout in 2019. But those people1 have been disappointed.
If his positional rankings aren’t enough to depress you, then wait until you see how he’s fared as a fantasy asset so far this season.
People have been waiting for the DeVante Parker breakout just a little bit longer than the other two players I’ve already mentioned. But by jingo, it looks like it could finally be happening!2 Just look at his numbers since Week 4.
Of the 24 WRs to see at least 50 targets since Week 4, Parker is No.6 in reFPOEPA. On a per play basis, he has outperformed such players as Chark, Cooper Kupp, Julio Jones and Hopkins. With a far from terrifying rest of season schedule, Parker could be a true league winner in 2019. Especially considering the Dolphins will be locking horns3 with the Giants and Bengals during the fantasy playoffs.
