We’ve all had that experience where we’re on a guy but he falls in a range with a couple of our other targets. You’re always thinking he’ll come back around to you, but somehow he never does. Someone always grabs him just a slot or two before your pick. And then, of course, that’s the player who ends up with a win rate around 17%.
It can’t always work that way, of course. But we’re primed to remember those guys, because we really did want them, and it was so frustrating to miss.
Well, this year, there are two of those guys for me, and I’m petrified they’re going to lead my opponents to victory.
With the big draft weeks still ahead of us, I’m changing my tactics. You should too, because you probably don’t own enough of them either.
