Houston Texans defensive end J.J. Watt will not be on the field for the teams scrimmage Thursday, as head coach Bill OBrien noted that the team will ramp players up on different schedules ahead of their Week 1 meeting with Kansas City. With there being no preseason games due to the COVID-19 protocol, getting Watt and others game repetitionss will prove difficult. After having been available for just eight games last year because of injury, Watt and the rest of the Houston defense enters 2020 as a fantasy backup plan rather than priority.
