The tenure for veteran quarterback Blake Bortles with the Denver Broncos was short-lived, as he was released Saturday before appearing in a game with the team. The decision to move on from Bortles ahead of Sundays game versus New England is an extremely strong indicator that Drew Lock (shoulder), who is still tagged as questionable due to a shoulder injury, is going to play, and therefore, start. With both Brett Rypien and Jeff Driskel around as QB options for Denver, theres little purpose in rostering Bortles with a healthy Lock. Denver will be without many of its key offensive cogs, but Lock presents upside in two-QB leagues, as well as those going drastically contrarian in DFS.
