Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgeraldhas been out of the mix since Week 11 after testing positive for COVID-19, and head coach Kliff Kingsbury said Monday that the team is hoping to have the veteran back on the field “soon.” Despite not having hauled in a touchdown yet during 2020, Fitzgerald has been an integral cog in the Cardinals offense, especially as a blocking receiver. While his days as a fantasy stalwart are long gone, he has perpetual DFS appeal due to his low price tag and involvement in what is usually an explosive Arizona offense with quarterbackKyler Murray at the helm. Check back throughout the week to see if Fitzgerald can begin his road back with practice time ahead of the team’s matchup Sunday against the Giants.
