Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott (calf) has been given the thumbs up to play in Sunday’s game against Philadelphia after having missed last week’s contest due to a calf injury. Elliott had given way to Tony Pollard, who had a breakout performance serving as the Cowboys’ bell cow. In the wake of that showing, it’s unlikely that Elliott completely dominates the carries in Week 16, especially in light of his lingering calf issue. But those fantasy managers who are relying upon Elliott in season-long championship matchups can safely deploy Dallas’ top back, who has received double-digit carries in every game during the 2020 season. In seven career matchups versus the Eagles, Elliott has averaged 97.7 yards rushing per game and figures to remain a focal point in the offense Sunday.
