The Miami Dolphins signed wide receiver Isaiah Ford to an undisclosed deal on Friday and waived safety Brian Cole and center Tyler Gauthier in corresponding moves. Ford was traded to the New England Patriots at last year’s trade deadline, but he didn’t play a single snap for them and was ultimately released. The 25-year-old has spent his entire three-year career with Miami, catching 51 passes for 520 yards. However, he’ll just be competing for a roster spot in training camp in a crowded receivers room after Miami added Will Fuller and rookie first-rounder Jaylen Waddle. Ford is most likely ticketed for the practice squad.
