New York Jets safety Marcus Maye has been activated off the non-football injury list. He passed his physical and should have no problems heading into training camp. Possibly, his absence was a negotiating tactic, but the Jets are unwilling to pay him top tier money. Maye recorded 11 passes defended and two interceptions last season. He is certainly a significant factor in the secondary. However, it’s uncertain how long he’ll be in New York with the contract extensions coming to a halt.
