In an interview with NBC Sports Washington, Washington Football Team quarterbackRyan Fitzpatrick had high praise for his new team and offensive coordinator Scott Turner. He said, “The biggest thing with his offense, is we’re able to spread the ball around to everybody and get everybody involved. It’s going to be a tough offense to defend just because of all the pieces we have.” Fitzpatrick will need to build a rapport during training camp with the new weapons he has at his disposal. This includes a legitimate WR1 in Terry McLaurin, the speedy Curtis Samueland tight endLogan Thomas as his primary targets this season. Turner’s offense is a high-volume passing attack that will “work to Fitzpatrick’s strengths and weaknesses.” Fitzpatrick will be put into a position to succeed and can be treated as a fantasy QB2 for the time being, as he will be a popular streaming option in most leagues.
