Burrow or Bust: Can This Polarizing 2025 Rookie Quarterback Deliver on His High-End Range of Outcomes?

Kevin Szafraniec breaks down how one rookie quarterback began to change the narrative surrounding him over the second half of 2025, but there is still more work to be done before fantasy managers fully buy in.

When it comes to fantasy football, it can take an overwhelming amount of evidence to move an opinion of a player from one end of the spectrum to the other. Even when we receive information that pushes back against our priors, it is difficult to completely disregard all skepticism unless the data is overwhelmingly pointing us in the opposite direction, a scenario that rarely plays out smoothly given the sheer volume of statistical analysis we have available nowadays.

Despite coming into the league with plenty of naysayers, one rookie quarterback’s performance over the second half of 2025 went a long way to proving his skeptics wrong. As we look ahead to Year 2, Joe Burrow heads up a list of statistical comps that still includes its fair share of fantasy landmines.

Can this polarizing signal caller maintain his positive trajectory, or will he fizzle out like so many promising players before him?
