Kansas City Chiefs safety Tyrann Mathieu (hip) is questionable for Week 14 against the Dolphins. Mathieu popped up on the injury report on Friday and was able to get in a limited practice, so he has a chance to be active. The Honey Badger has been a top-15 defensive back in IDP leagues, racking up 43 tackles, seven passes defensed, five interceptions and a fumble recovery in 12 games played. He’s an important piece of KC’s secondary, so not having him around would be a boost to rookie quarterback Tua Tagovailoa and Miami’s passing attack. The Chiefs Defense should be a top-10 fantasy unit regardless of whether Mathieu plays against the rookie QB, but his presence certainly makes them more imposing.
