San Francisco 49ers tight end Jordan Reed had a quiet outing in Week 14 against the Washington Football Team. Facing his former team, Reed caught just two of his five targets for 13 yards. 49ers quarterback Nick Mullensthrew the ball 45 times in this week’s game and the 49ers were without their No. 2 receiver Deebo Samuel (hamstring) for almost the entirety of the game after an early injury. The fact that Reed couldn’t succeed under these conditions is certainly concerning. He’s going to be tough to trust in any fantasy leagues going forward until he shows he’s able to produce again.
