There Won’t Be Another Cooper Kupp in 2022, But 1 WR Possesses Shocking Similarities at a Surprising Price

Colm Kelly and I received a question for RotoViz Overtime this week, and it got right down to the nitty gritty: Who will be the Cooper Kupp and Deebo Samuel of 2022?

That’s really what we all want to know, right? Who will be the league winners?

To address the elephant first: Kupp had a 31% win rate last year. The next best WR win rate over the last five years was JuJu Smith-Schuster with a 22% win rate in 2018. There won’t be a Kupp in 2022.

That doesn’t mean you don’t want to draft this year’s best values for the price.

My selection for the Next Cooper Kupp jumped multiple rounds and into the first two stanzas in that exercise, but it wasn’t until fully researching this article that I realized just how close some of the important parallels were. I don’t have enough of this WR in my portfolio.

Thankfully, we’re embarking on the most crucial and high-volume draft weeks. There’s still time.
