The best part of fantasy football has arrived. We’ve reached redraft season. In 2023 drafters can win $1 million in both the $2,000 (Main Event) and $350 (Fantasy Pros) levels at the FFPC. You can plot to win the mythical double by attempting to select nearly identical perfect teams, or just by drafting unique teams that both happen to be better than anything the competition musters.
The RotoViz community has been rocking these contests over recent years, and now we have a chance at a million plus (nothing prevents you from finishing first and second) in each tournament. Or a better way to put it might be: let’s have some fun with a high-upside, evidence-based draft plan.
Early drafting in the 2023 tournaments has been fairly balanced in what has been a relatively favorable format for RBs. The 2-RB/2-WR/2-Flex starting lineup allows you to get four runners in at once, if you hit on the right guys. Drafters who want to go that direction will have options this year. Only eight RBs go in the first two rounds and just 20 in the first five. Meanwhile, seven TEs and seven QBs give the board a starting lineup flavor.
