It’s Fergie Time: Week 5 Tight End Streamers
Image Credit: Andrew Dieb/Icon Sportswire. Pictured: Jake Ferguson.

Week 5 sees the beginning of the 2023 bye weeks, making roster and lineup decisions trickier. This is never more relevant than at the tight end spot. It’s already a joy trying to find a viable starter at this spot when all 32 teams are in action. But once you start subtracting teams from the main group, the real challenge begins.

But worry ye not. I am not prepared to let you face this challenge alone. Here I will provide the names of three players you can consider plugging into your TE spot for the week ahead. One of them is very likely heading into his last week of eligibility, as I fully expect his roster percentage in ESPN leagues to tick over 50% very shortly. So you should probably make the most of this change.

Stats do not include players from Monday Night Football.

Lead Writer, soft spot for the tight end position. Will never stop loving Duke Johnson.

Chig Okonkwo Might Not Have the Counting Stats, But the YAC Can Make Him a Dangerous Weapon

The Commanders, desperately in need of players to catch passes from (hopefully) Jayden Daniels in 2026, added former Titans tight end Chig Okonkwo in free agency. The former Maryland Terrapin signed a three-year pact with the Commanders. But does this change of scenery make Okonkwo an attractive fantasy proposition in 2026? Volume 2 of the 2026 RotoViz Rookie Draft Guide is out now! Jam-packed with comprehensive…...

Mike Evans’ Red Zone Prowess Should Keep Him Fantasy Relevant with the 49ers

An era came to an end in Tampa Bay, with one of the greatest players in Buccaneers history waving goodbye to the team in free agency. Mike Evans is off to San Francisco on a three-year, $42m deal, joining an interesting list of players who have donned both 49ers and Bucs red. (This list includes Steve Young, Trent Dilfer, and Jeff Garcia.) What does this…...

Harold Fannin’s Historic Rookie Season Was a Lone Bright Spot for the Browns, But Can He Build On His Success in Year 2?

The 2025 NFL season is not one that many people linked to the Cleveland Browns will remember fondly. Well, maybe Myles Garrett, who set a new single-season mark for sacks, after all. But apart from him, not many people covered themselves in glory last season. Amid the wreckage of a campaign that saw head coach Kevin Stefanski lose his job, there was one bright spot,…...
