Can This Erratic 2024 Rookie Live Up to the Andrew Luck Comparisons with a Year 2 Rebound?

Andrew Luck came into the NFL in 2012 touted as a generational quarterback prospect and proceeded to finish as fantasy’s QB10 in his rookie season. Not bad on the surface, but it was not all roses for Indianapolis’ first overall pick, as his 18 interceptions fell just one short of being the most in the league, and his 54% completion percentage ranked 42nd among QBs. While this may not seem terrible for a rookie, it is not the type of season we would expect from a player who was widely considered the best QB prospect since Peyton Manning.

Luckily, the story does not end there. From his second season on, Luck never finished below fantasy’s QB5 during any season in which he played in more than seven games. While his career was short-lived at six seasons, Luck was able to put his mediocre rookie season behind him and consistently deliver on his college hype.
